In a hands-on test of all seven NOX 2027 rackets, the Genius 18K is the most complete, forgiving reference of the Tapia range: huge sweet spot, good ball output and great manoeuvrability. It produced less smash distance than the 12K models, and side by side with the 2026 18K the tester could barely tell them apart, calling the update an evolution rather than a revolution.
“That is why I think the 2027 NOX rackets are an evolution, not a revolution.”
- + Huge, centred sweet spot
- + Very easy to manoeuvre
- + Good ball output, helps in defence
- + Medium feel that is not demanding
- − Less smash distance than the 12K and Attack models
- − Less weight behind high víboras than the diamond shapes
- − Barely distinguishable from the 2026 version; VCS and bigger channels not clearly noticeable
