Pablo found Aimar Goñi's AG10 the hardest of the seven NOX 2027 rackets he tested and his favourite for bandejas and viboras: the high balance puts weight behind the ball and the response is very predictable, and it was among the strongest in his smash-distance test. The trade-off is that it takes more effort to move than a hybrid in fast volley exchanges and in defence.
“And the AG10 is the hardest racket of the seven. That would be my choice if you want a more aggressive racket, especially for overhead hits”
- + Favourite of the seven for bandeja and vibora
- + Among the most powerful in the smash-distance test
- + Lots of weight behind the ball on volleys hit out in front
- + Predictable response; the ball never dies on the face
- − Takes more effort to move than a hybrid
- − Can hurt you in quick volley exchanges
- − High balance is felt when reacting late in defence
